SEO Content Executive

Salary: £24,000
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Bath

Reporting to the Head of Content, the purpose of this role is to deliver the content elements of Lovehoney’s SEO strategy, mainly through the writing and publishing of optimised and engaging editorial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing amazing words that educate, enlighten and entertain our customers, both existing and potential
• Ensuring those amazing words are fully optimised for organic search so that your editorial appears in SERPs for the relevant keywords
• You’ll be able to vary your writing style according to the purpose of the editorial - you might be writing blogs one day, product or category page copy another, and then buyer’s guide copy the next
• You’ll also be responsible for uploading and publishing content via our CMS and other systems
• The role sits in the Content team, but you’ll develop an excellent working relationship with the SEO team
• And as such, you’ll be taking their research data and briefs and acting accordingly
• You’ll work alongside agencies in the USA, Australia, and other territories to assist in the planning, delivery, and publication of localised editorial

There are some things you need to bring to the table and these include:

• A proven track record of delivering excellent editorial and a thorough understanding of the role content plays in SEO (you’ll have worked in a similar commercial role before)
• Good understanding of organic search
• Some knowledge of sex toys would be an advantage but not neccessary as training will be provided
• Really strong IT skills, preferably including the use of an enterprise-level CMS
• Familiarity with Google’s suite of tools would be an advantage
• Due to current circumstances, initially, you’ll be working at home, so you’ll need:
• A willingness to learn remotely - and swiftly - whether that’s about our products, our customers or our systems and processes (hint: it’ll be all of them)
• High levels of self-motivation
• A strong internet connection and a workable home office set up (a computer will be provided)
