    Your job will be to contribute to the success of Lovehoney’s American retail website, maximizing revenue through the planning and execution of exciting promotions and other visual merchandising.

    The Ecommerce Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the ecommerce website for the US region in order to optimize all on site commercial activity to deliver the P&L. They will be responsible for executing the decision-making for the website, promotional activities, online changes to the home page, product detail pages, landing pages and more. They will also be responsible for reporting on daily, weekly and monthly trading (sales) activities including all relevant metrics and KPIs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide on-time and flawless execution of on-site promotional activity and creative content for the website and (potential future) marketplaces
    • Influence the online asset management process which includes product images, product description and other creative images in conjunction with HQ partners in England.
    • Oversee all onsite product and marketing launch updates which include uploading onsite banners, testing and ensuring all supporting content is ready for launch in conjunction with provided assets by HQ
    • Working closely with the UK and AU Trading teams they will provide the Design team with all necessary information to ensure the timely execution for all monthly site refreshes and updates. This would include, but not limited to: layout creation, landing page assets, product and content images, and due dates for launches
    • Help in the planning process to define Ecommerce trading (sales) strategy working closely with the marketing team to ensure the proper acquisitions and redemption strategies are put in place to drive traffic and improve conversion rates.
    • Partner with Lovehoney trading and analytics team on execution of future AB tests
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive business and execute new online business strategies
    • Maintain and create processes documentation to drive team efficiencies
    • Collaborate on efforts to improve the online experience by funneling ideas into the Ecommerce roadmap process, along with partners in other regions.
    • Manage reporting and analysis to ensure sales, traffic and brand KPIs are met

    The successful candidate will have:

    An ideal candidate for the Ecommerce Manager position is an organized, analytical person with strong technical skills. They will be able to multitask effectively and be able to problem-solve when needed. An Ecommerce Manager will be able to successfully manage the US website with additional resourceslocated in the UK, and to delegate tasks based on skills. The following skills are needed:

    • Demonstrated understanding of Ecommerce best practices, with a track record of applying these best practices
    • High sense of urgency
    • Experience running operations in an ecommerce environment, including executing strategy
    • Must have worked in an retail e-commerce environment and can demonstrably provide evidence of outcomes

    Junior Online Sales Executive - Apprenticeship Opportunity

    You’ll be making the most of your curiosity and creativity to identify ways to maximise revenue through sales analysis. You’ll also be supporting the Online Sales Team in the long-term planning and short-term execution of sales events on the Lovehoney websites. The creation and commissioning of commercial content will also be a key part of your role.

    • Work alongside the rest of the Online Trading Team, support the long-term sales strategy and short-term tactics based on both trading conditions and budgets
    • Maintain best practice to ensure that our trading strategy and tactics are on-brand and compelling. This includes commissioning graphics and writing commercially focused and customer-engaging copy
    • Report to the Online Sales Manager on promotions and category performance, suggesting action to boost performance where required

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Knowledge of web-based ecommerce, mobile ecommerce and retail
    • Commercially focused and curious, with an aptitude for trend-spotting
    • Creative flair, with excellent written English and a keen eye for detail
    • Proven organisational and time management skills
    • Confident using software such as Google Docs/Microsoft Office packages
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • An understanding of basic HTML would be advantageous
    • Comfortable working to deadlines and under pressure
    • Self starter and driven, able to work at pace
