      Lovehoneys talented workforce is currently seeking a Goods In Senior to lead our Goods In Team over the weekend, and work in a Goods In Operative capacity for three shifts throughout the week

      The purpose of this position is to lead our Goods In Team over the weekend, ensuring that all stock activities are being run effectively and efficiently in our UK Warehouse: daily transfers, goods in, customer returns, product management and placement. The position needs to identify priorities focussing on OOS and any outstanding work, supporting fulfilment on problem orders, and order processing as necessary.

      A key aspect of the role is to support, communicate with, and coach the Goods In Operatives, making sure that everyone in the Team has delegated tasks and is working to the best of their ability.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Overseeing a small team of Goods In staff with a second Senior - to include motivation, coaching and regular feedback
      • Setting workload for the team: processing stock in, returns and product management
      • Working alongside the Team performing inline with expectations set
      • Running and performing stock checks as necessary
      • Ensuring we meet our out of stock KPI of below 5%
      • Ensuring returns productivity continues to meet KPI standards
      • Process transfers going from the Bath Warehouse to other sites
      • Monitoring, improving and updating UK shelving strategies
      • Product management as required: weights and measures, locating stock, writing off damaged stock, QC work etc..
      • Produce End of Day report outlining what the Team achieved and what work is left for the next working day
      • Working with other seniors, team leaders and managers to make sure the fulfillment team are supported
      • Supporting Fulfilment with picking and packing customer orders as needed
      • Leaving the Goods In area in a clean and safe state at the end of every shift

      There are some things you need to bring to the table and these include:

      • Warehouse / Retail experience is essential
      • Stock control experience would be prefered but not essential as training will be given
      • Experience of leading a Team is preferred
      • Able to work under pressure and keep to strict deadlines
      • High computer literacy and knowledge of microsoft and google software products

      Fulfilment Warehouse Operatives

      Perm FT and PT (minimum 22.5 hr) roles on 5am-1pm and 1pm-9pm Fulfilment Team. Days and hours to be confirmed - weekend working likely to be required.

      We have a variety of Full time and Part time, permanent Warehouse Operative roles available. When you complete the application form you will be asked to state your preferences. Please note that the 'ideal' candidate would be able to work some weekends

      As Warehouse Operative, your main duties will include picking and packing customer orders accurately, discreetly and in a timely manner; clearing all print queues in time for last prints and collection; maintaining acceptable levels of performance, punctuality and attendance; supporting in other areas as necessary ( restocking shelves, picking transfers, checking best before dates, pulling stock forward, stock checking etc.) and maintaining a tidy and organised Warehouse environment.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Picking and packing all customer orders to tight print deadlines
      • Maintain an acceptable accuracy level on all picked and packed items
      • Pass quality checks on random packed orders
      • Maintain acceptable daily performance stats
      • Follow and uphold the warehouse method statements
      • Support on Quality Control rework as necessary
      • Complete rolling stock takes and best before date checks
      • Create postal manifests and packages for Couriers on occasion
      • Restock packing stations and clean the Warehouse at end of shift or as needed
      • Support Logistics or Inventory as required
      • Return ‘Can’t Go’ stock daily as requested to do so

      There are some things you need to bring to the table and these include:

      • Strong IT skills as you will need to use different Apps on a daily basis
      • Experience of working in a retail or warehouse environment
      • Must be over 18 years of age
      • Good literacy and numeracy
