    The role will be responsible for supporting a team of Email Marketing Executives to achieve Lovehoney’s Global, commercial KPI objectives for the email channel.

    The role has responsibility for e2e delivery process for broadcast email channel, reviewing all broadcast email communications and leading post campaign analysis.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the end to end email production process ensuring planning, briefing, build and test phases are on schedule and delivered in line with internal SLAs
    • Provide reporting on Email Production Process to allow us to measure the performance against our internal SLAs and identify areas for improvement
    • Provide quality control of all Broadcast emails, ensuring that all messaging, copy, merchandising, creative and offers are fully optimised to drive performance
    • Work with the wider team to ensure that email plans and approval tests are communicated to key stakeholders within the businesses in a clear and timely manner
    • Work with the Email Planning Manager to develop insightful and actionable post campaign analysis documentation around Broadcast that will allow us to continuously improve our performance
    • Work with Email Team to ensure each Email Broadcast delivers upon its commercial and trading objectives and KPIs
    • Work with Email Planning Manager to ensure all campaign plans are achievable through management of the team workload
    • Ensure Email Best Practice principles of Creative, Content, Messaging, Offers and proposition are present in all Broadcast Emails

    Email Planning Manager

    The role is responsible for strategic planning and development of Lovehoney’s email planning, through automated customer journey planning and broadcast campaign planning.

    The role will work with teams within the business to ensure that there are compelling email campaign plans for Lovehoney’s key trading periods. The role will create overarching campaign plans using research and best practice examples and post campaign performance analysis to inspire and inform the work of the Retention team. It has a responsibility to support and turn these plans into engaging and commercially successful campaigns that deliver customer loyalty.

    The role will work closely with the Head of Retention and other roles within the Retention team to ensure that our automated email programmes are driving long term loyalty and retention through seamless customer experiences that educate and inspire customer loyalty. It will be required to analyse, research, map and plan new journeys and optimise existing experiences.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyse existing automated customer journeys and identify opportunities to improve, optimise or develop new experiences
    • Create comprehensive and compelling plans for new automated customer communications using data driven insight and industry best practice to achieve stakeholder buy-in
    • Understand the commercial objectives of Lovehoney’s Email channel and constantly look for ways to deliver upon them through improvements to customer conversion and driving lifetime value
    • Create exciting and innovative email campaign strategies to support and deliver the commercial targets of Lovehoney’s peak trading periods such as Black Friday, Christmas and Valentines
    • Support the wider Retention team to create detailed email plans that deliver on the campaign strategy
    • Work closely with the Head of Retention to drive value from the Lovehoney loyalty and unlimited programmes
    • Champion customer experience within the email and loyalty programme
    • Create campaigns that inspire and educate Lovehoney customers to stay loyal to the brand
