    The role of Lead/Head of Digital Marketing is a Lovehoney HQ role based in Bath reporting to the Marketing Director. This is a key role in developing and delivering multi-million global revenue and margin targets through integrated online media strategies and plans for all territories (with focus on UK, US and AU). The role is responsible for PPC, SEO and Affiliate Marketing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and deliver an integrated digital media strategy across PPC, SEO and Affiliate marketing to achieve global revenue and margin targets.
    • Own and manage media forecasts and global budgets.
    • Develop and deliver annual digital KPI’s by territory.
    • Deliver regular, accurate media performance reporting to key stakeholders.
    • Constantly monitor performance across all media and territories, and take rapid, data driven decisions to optimise performance.
    • Work closely with Commercial Insights to create integrated media forecasts.
    • Build strong working relationships with Brand Marketing and Trading to develop integrated plans for key sales periods and opportunities
    • Monitor and report on competitor strategies.
    • Lead and manage our global PPC agency to deliver robust strategies, campaign, reporting and targets.
    • Lead, develop and manage the Digital Marketing team of four.
    • Monitor and keep abreast of latest digital technology and media channel opportunities.
    • Support territory team (US and AU focus) in delivering localised plans and targets.

    Essential Skills and Experience

    The successful candidate will:

    • Minimum of 8 years consumer digital media within an international brand.
    • Track record of delivering revenue and margin growth with a multi-million pound business.
    • Advanced data analytics skills
    • Global PPC strategy development and delivery
    • GA accreditation
    • Agency management

    • Proven experience of SEM strategy development and delivery globally.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute successful global SEO strategies that deliver revenue and margin targets by territory always looking for improvements to support growth.
    • Create regular and accurate SEO performance reporting
    • Identification of risks and presenting this to senior management and the board in order to gain buy in and critical understanding.
    • Proactively identify SEO improvement opportunities based on data and insight.
    • Create Technical SEO plans and improvements.
    • Deliver regular keyword research and reports to guide content improvements
    • Work closely with PPC teams to apply insights to SEO improvements.

    Essential Skills and Experience

    The successful candidate will:

    • Minimum 3 years SEO/SEM Manager experience with a global consumer brand
    • Track record of successfully delivering SEO growth and performance targets
    • Experience of working with SEo agencies to support internal strategy rollout.
    • Problem solving and capable of deep diving SEO issues to support traffic downturns and delivering a strategic plan to mitigate and rectify such issues.
    • Expert knowledge of SEO practices
    • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
    • Strong data and analytical skills
    • Experience of relevant SEO and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong organisational and people management skills
    • Able to communicate complex SEO topics to all staff upto board level to support wider understanding.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and deliver the retention marketing strategy and plans globally to achieve targets and increase customer lifetime value
    • Work with Commercial Insights team to develop and deliver actionable customer insight to improve global retention rates and deliver revenue and margin targets.
    • Set and deliver all retention KPI’s and metrics, with supporting regular reporting suite.
    • Own and lead the development of the Lovehoney loyalty programme globally. Working across all departments to drive the customer experience and engagement with the programme. Develop the customer communications and on-site experience requirements to increase awareness and interaction with the scheme. Lead the programme globally and support territory teams in appropriate localisation.
    • Own the Lovehoney Subscriptions product and proposition. Working with NPD, Tech, Marketing, Content, Creative Services, Customer Care and OTT to develop integrated plans. Develop strategy and plan for key territory roll out to deliver targets.
    • Lead and deliver the global Lovehoney email strategy and plan. Own the achievement of email targets. This includes:
      • Develop and deliver all email communications across Lovehoney Group to achieve targets
      • Accurately forecast email revenue across all websites.
      • Own the relationship with the ESP.
      • Deliver optimised broadcast and automation programmes
      • Deliver personalisation across all email communications.
      • Ensure integrated and profitable email offer strategies with the Trading and Product teams.
      • Continuously monitor, improve and innovate email communications across Lovehoney. Work with the UX, Tech, Customer Care, Marketing and Creative Services team to deliver optimised customer journeys.
      • Drive the use of data and segmentation across all email programmes.
      • Create seamless and strong communications and relationships with US and AU teams in the delivery of localised plans.
      • Lead, develop and manage the Retention team.
