    UX Designer

    Location: Bath, UK
    Manager: Head of Digital Product
    Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per annum

    This is a pivotal role that will shape and influence the user-centric design of the Lovehoney websites to create user experiences and interfaces that are genuinely intuitive and engaging. Working with a variety of business functions to drive the discovery phase of feature and product development, you will put your significant understanding of UX practices, research and design experience to full use to create end-to-end journeys that meet the requirements, optimise the user experience and deliver on business objectives.

    This role will apply their specialist skills across a wide variety of products, features, and journeys, including page templates for our new websites as part of our Transformation project, promotional devices, campaign pages, user self-service tools, loyalty engagement journeys and more.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide user driven UX designs and UI concepts, consulting with stakeholders and development teams to supply the vision for the end feature
    • Gather, prioritise and document functional requirements, working with Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure acceptance criteria are agreed and dependencies understood
    • Develop user flows and shape feature specific personas to support the process
    • Use analytical data sources as well as user behaviour and research tools to identify existing and potential user pain points to facilitate effective design approach
    • Produce detailed proposals, wireframes and prototypes that meet strategic objectives and allow discussion with relevant stakeholders
    • Provide high fidelity designs and assets to development/agile team to ensure build meets needs and vision
    • Manage and prioritise UX workflows for and within roadmapped features and projects, front end experiments and iterative enhancements
    • Contribute to cross-functional/departmental discovery and refinement sessions
    • Consistently review and user test the Lovehoney websites to identify emerging user struggles and to measure and report on the performance of new deployed features and products
    • Clearly communicate upcoming features to include visual guides and demonstrations, release notes, user guides to internal teams and partner agencies

    There are some things you need to bring to the table and these include:

    • Data Analysis and Metrics - Google Analytics, GTM, Content Square
    • User Insight - SessionCam, Informizely or other survey tool, Content Square
    • User Research and Testing - Gathering and managing user research using a variety of tools e.g. usertesting.com, Informizely, rapid functionality testing etc.
    • Design - Wireframing, prototyping, design, asset creation using appropriate software and tools
    • Frontend code - HTML, CSS, JS

    Cloud Solutions Architect

    The purpose of this role is to provide strong systems administration and DevOps tooling to internal and external development teams based largely on Google Cloud Platform to aid the transformation programme

    Key Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot, secure, and maintain production environments
    • Support and evolve CI/CD pipelines
    • Work closely with QA and Developers to provide required level of support to the business
    • Be a relentless automator
    • Respond to out of hours incidents
    • Build resilient systems using modern technologies within the Google Cloud Platform.
    • Act as the key DevOps resource for the delivery of tasks to support the development teams on the transformation programme.
    • Undertake Environment and Release management duties for the transformation programme

    There are some things you need to bring to the table and these include:

    • A strong understanding of web security and performance issues with strong diagnostic skills.
    • Strong shell scripting.
    • A strong understanding of RHEL / CentOS and RPM packaging (inc Spacewalk)
    • Virtualisation and Strong Networking experience
    • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as code and configuration management (Puppet & Ansible)
    • Docker Swarm and Kubernetes exposure
    • Strong understanding of log centralisation and visualisation.
    • Red Hat Certified System Administrator / Engineer
    • Google Cloud Platform, AWS and / or Microsoft Azure
    • Experience with application build pipelines including CI/CD
    • Technologies include: Puppet / Ansible / Google Cloud / Bamboo / Tomcat / Apache / Docker / Kubernetes / Elastic Stack / CentOS / Ubuntu
