    Business Analyst

    Location: Bath, UK
    Department: PMO
    Hours: 37.5 per week
    Salary: Circa £50,000.00 - 60,000.00 per annum subject to experience

    The Business Analyst role is a hands-on role, involving building requirements and technical specifications upon which the technical delivery channel can then deliver at Lovehoney. The role will be able to work across a number of areas including Tech, Marketing, Logistics, Merchandising, Customer Service and Finance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions
    • Complete requirements documents and support in managing scope to baseline business case
    • Understand process impact and determine the change process to optimise compatibility and interoperability with in-house computing systems
    • Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers
    • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews as input to system design and change management
    • Develop clear communication material to support the transition from legacy to new systems focusing on user adoption
    • Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems
    • Document any required process or system changes, and communicate them to the relevant third parties/colleagues
    • Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
    • Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

    There are some things you need to bring to the table and these include:

    • At least 3 years experience in e-commerce
    • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
    • Experience of conducting research into systems issues and products as required

    It would be beneficial to have experience in the following:

    • E-commerce platform migration
    • Brand going into global markets in terms of e-commerce platform, logistics, customer service, marketing and finance
    • 3rd party warehouse integration and drop ship integration
    • Supplier integration, ie. electronic invoicing, product, purchasing and reconciliation
    • Customer service platform integration and migration
    • Financial software integration and migration
    • Website development such as redesign for mobile user experience focusing on conversion
    • Data analyst on business intelligence platform
    • E-mail provider integration
    • Payment gateway integration

    Linux Adminstrator

    Hours: 37.5 per week
    Salary: Circa £40,000.00 - 45,000.00 per annum subject to experience

    The purpose of the Linux Administrator is to provide strong systems administration and infrastructure development to the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot, secure, and maintain production environments
    • Cover PCI compliance, server patching and web security
    • Work closely with QA and Developers to provide required level of support to the business
    • Be a relentless automator
    • Respond to out of hours incidents
    • Build resilient systems using modern technologies within the Google Cloud Platform

    There are some things you need to bring to the table and these include:

    • A strong understanding of web security and performance issues with strong diagnostic skills
    • Strong shell scripting
    • A strong understanding of RHEL / CentOS and RPM packaging (inc Spacewalk)
    • Virtualisation and Strong Networking experience
    • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as code and configuration management (Puppet & Ansible)
    • Docker Swarm and Kubernetes exposure
    • Strong understanding of log centralisation and visualisation
    • Red Hat Certified System Administrator / Engineer
    • Google Cloud Platform, AWS and / or Microsoft Azure
    • Experience with application build pipelines including CI/CD
    • Technologies include: Puppet / Ansible / Google Cloud / Bamboo / Tomcat / Apache / Docker / Kubernetes / Elastic Stack / CentOS / Ubuntu

    The role is responsible for working as part of the PMO team ensuring activity is scoped, planned, analysed and projects delivered for Lovehoney on time, within budget and to agreed scope. A key facet of the role is working with key business stakeholders to understand their technical needs and to then translate these into requirements in preparation for prioritisation of these for delivery by the Tech team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Liaise with Management and Business teams to review project proposals and determine goals, deliverables, timescales, staffing requirements and resources to accomplish approved project requirements
    • Work with Business Analysts and Developers to define and document the technical scope and objectives of projects
    • Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
    • Drive a continuous improvement mentality, review project approach and deliverables to ensure we continually learn from the approach taken
    • Lead dependency and risk management workshops
    • Deliver informative, well-organised presentations
    • Contribute to the day to day running of the PMO Office
    • Drive change management
