    PMO Programme Manager (Agile)

    We are searching for an experienced and outstanding Programme manager to join our dynamic Tech/IT team working on a range of projects within the company.

    The company is undertaking a significant period of transformation of its websites and internal based systems over the coming years to transform these into modern best of breed solutions to support the continued growth aspirations of the business. This role will be key to delivering this transformation programme with the PMO team of project managers and business analysts.

    The PMO at the moment is a core part of the Technology departments and we currently operate a continuous delivery agile kanban based approach to project delivery. The Project Management Office (PMO) at Lovehoney sets, maintains and ensures standards for project management across that organization. The office is the keeper of best practices, roadmap definition and ownership, project status and direction — all in one location. The PMO also contains the business analyst function for technology’ The Business Analysts (BAs) which work with the business to define requirements and documentation to ensure the developers have the right requirements upon which to deliver a technical solution.

    With an aim to deliver a single view and pipeline for technology, the PMO is the central entry point for change. We aim to deliver extreme value to all the stakeholders of the business. The scale of change that the PMO manage is as follows: bugs, enhancements, projects and programmes of work all go through PMO

    The Programme manager role is a hands-on role, involving coordinating everything within the technology delivery channel at Lovehoney.

    Largely the PMO team understand and can answer questions relating to the Lovehoney websites and systems and in some respects are SME in various areas of the business operation i.e. courier, website flow, payment gateways, third party supplier management etc. The individual will be working across all levels of the organisation from main board directors to project teams. Some admin will be required

    Duties will include (but not limited to)

    • Technology transformation programme definition and management of the delivery of this, working with the internal team, stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers to deliver against a transformation plan.
    • High level Consolidated project planning
    • Board level stakeholder management
    • Dependency management on cross project dependencies,working with Head of Development and QA to plan out roadmaps.
    • Business analysis of potential or ongoing projects
    • Reporting of progress on the roadmap to the board and directors

    • Benefits management and realisation assessment/reporting based on project delivery Coordinating all work requests into the Tech team, includes bugs and small enhancements as well as project sized work, ensuring that all items of work are sponsored by relevant stakeholders and are supported by appropriate business cases

    • Able to hit the ground running
    • Strong and effective communication and senior stakeholder management

    • Keen eye for detail
    • People motivator and leader with high levels of enthusiasm - Ability to challenge themselves, PMs, BAs and Developers.
    • Excellent impersonal and people management skills - communicate with the technology team and be able to translate that into business speak for key stakeholders upto board level.
    • Excellent supplier management experience and skills
    • A can do attitude in order to deliver change inline with business objectives.
    • SME in various parts of how the Lovehoney solution works at a conceptual level. The conduit between the development team and the business able to communicate on both levels to bring about the delivery of work in a smooth and effective manner
    • Ideally digital/technology experience and understanding and delivery of technology/ecommerce/digital projects

    Essential Skills and Experience

    • An experienced Programme Manager or Senior Business Analyst/project manager who has carried out stakeholder management, coordination of projects through the full life cycle - looking to take the next step in their career
    • Proven track record of effective relationship building with both internal and external contacts
    • Project delivery experience at either Senior Project Manager or Programme level
    • Background in working across a number of different sectors working on both business and IT related projects/programmes.
    • Agile delivery experience ideally in a Kanban/Agile/Scrum based environment.

    Additionally, it is beneficial if you have

    • Understanding of ecommerce and the makeup of a typical ecommerce website solution
    • Any understanding of logistics, warehouse management, payment providers in a digital ecommerce setup would be highly desirable

    Database Administrator (DBA)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Working on our Google Cloud Migration and supporting our continued migration to cloud native database technologies.
    • Strong maintenance and administration experience - responsible for all aspects of database administration, maintenance, security and compliance.
    • Investigation and troubleshooting - responsible for investigating and troubleshooting SQL Server related issues including CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and resource contention.
    • Disaster Recovery / BCP - responsible for maintaining the database DR setup for all system environments using the appropriate methodologies, managing risks and issues and escalating matters as appropriate.
    • Responsible for providing analysis and design of database solutions.
    • Change management and source control
    • Documentation - responsible for the DBA team processes and procedures (Maintaining KBs, topology, system run-books, etc.)
    • Participate in application design discussions, develop data models (conceptual, physical and logical) which describe data elements, their relationships and how they are used, and create technical design documentation.
    • Have immediate responsibility for all live database servers.
    • Be the first point of contact for database related errors.
    • Drive technical excellence into all SQL coding.
    • Provide visibility to senior management on server performance and possible improvements.

    Essential Qualifications and Experience

    • Experience with Microsoft SQL 2008 R2/ 2012 / 2014.
    • Minimum 1 years troubleshooting experience on a production SQL Server.
    • Experience with both OLTP and OLAP database architectures.
    • Strong T-SQL coding experience
    • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
    • Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, DBCC commands, clustering, snapshots and cdc.
    • Solid understanding of windows server, security delegation, SPNs, SAN storage components
    • Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
    • Knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SAC, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs, system sprocs)

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience

    • GCP or AWS Exposure
    • Database technologies include Microsoft SQL Server 2014/16 or/and other database technologies (MySQL, Oracle, Elasticsearch and NoSQL).
    • BSc / MSc in Computer Science
    • Microsoft certification (MCSA or MCSE, SQL Server 2012)
    • Experience with database unit testing frameworks eg. tSQLt
    • Experience with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
